Favourite tune to listen to on the bike.
Anything from classic rock to some good rap music. All depends on the vibes and the session.
Tell us about yourself, who are you, things people might not know about you outside of your riding.
I grew up racing and riding freestyle bmx, I competed in Dew Tour and competed all over the world as a professional bmx rider when I was 16 years old. I work as a carpenter and love building furniture in my spare time.
Competition or just riding?
I love just riding with friends but I do love competing because it gives me the opportunity to travel and continuously meet new people and ride new spots. Some of my closest friends now are people I have met at competitions around the world.
What’s your all time favourite mountain biking trip?
I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time in Canada in 2022, unfortunately I broke my back but I was able to meet some of my child hood idols and witness crankworx Joyride in person.
What do you love about riding?
The peace of mind it gives you, riding my bike can clear all my problems and gives you a sense of freedom from day to day life.
What are you most proud of achieving through riding?
The personal growth and confidence riding has given me and the ability to persevere through hard times and injuries. Everything from riding has helped me with many things in life.
One tip you would give to a grom wanting to become a rider like yourself?
Enjoy the process and just have fun.
