Our body armour is a tight fitting elastic mesh and is a standard fit, so stick to your normal size.

CARE INFORMATION

The Rheon inserts are removable.
We recommend removing the pads before washing to help the fabric wash and dry properly, especially since it’s a larger item to avoid damage.
Cold machine wash is okay for the fabric. Do not put in the dryer.

Awesome armour!

When it arrived, I was so worried it would be too heavy for my 13-year-old son. But the moment he put it on and took it for a spin around the BMX track, he was absolutely over the moon!

Promising RHEON Protection, but the Fit Needs Work

I was looking for a replacement protective compression shirt for intense BMX racing, with minimal movement restriction and maximum breathability. I had high expectations for the new RHEON technology, and the inserts did not disappoint: they are very lightweight, much more flexible, and retain noticeably less heat than D3O for a similar level of protection. They feel somewhat like 3DF inserts, but with better execution.

DHaRCO made a very great-looking, minimalist and lightweight shirt (what I needed!), with the inserts held tightly and generally well positioned. Unfortunately, I have three main criticisms. First, the fabric itself is not very breathable; mesh panels would have helped significantly. Second, the elbow pads sit too high on my long arms and feel more like tricep protection than proper elbow and forearm coverage. A larger size would be too loose around my chest, and I do not have this issue with competing products. Third, the shoulder pads constantly rub against the fabric and make an annoying noise whenever I move my arms.

Overall, it is a very interesting and promising product, but a few adjustments to the pattern and fabric would make a major difference.

Feels really good. After it warms, I don’t even know that I wearing it. Would be great if you could buy the tops separately to use with the armour plates.

Makes me feel safe without feeling hot

I bought the Armour for hard enduro riding & it’s by far the most comfortable protective gear I’ve owned. It is a bit hard to get off when I’m wet, that’s not an issue as long as it doesn’t rip or something. Time will tell on that. I am planning on buying the armour for my wife & daughter.

Wear and forget

As advertised, this protection is so comfortable and flexible you forget you are wearing it, very comfortable. The only ask I would make is to be able to buy the shirt without the protection, so one can be washed while still having the gear to wear.

Feels MUCH better than expected!

Kind of inevitable to eat it riding mountain bikes at some point. Having had a shoulder injury from biking in the past I wanted to find the best possible protection that doesn't feel annoying and restrictive. This feels like the ultimate one piece to wear!

Very near miss

I like the armor shirt a lot but it falls short with padding in two places. The elbow pad sits a bit high on my elbow and could use more padding down the forearm. The shoulder pads should extend a slight bit farther forward on the shoulders. And it squeaks a little bit, I never notice it while riding but I do at other times. I might buy some kids knee pads to dismantle, cut up and add to the shirt where it lacks padding. Kinda wish I didn’t spend a premium price on something just to feel the need to spend more and modify it.

Just tried my long sleeve body armour today. Super comfortable, really easy to move in. Easy to take the padding out to wash. Very happy with this purchase.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Great bit of kit for those who want to go hard without the bulk - it works well. Its alredy been tested!! Great safety precaution for not only the middle aged MTBer but all ages. Combined with the Dharco knees pads great safety set up.

Great feel

I use it for enduro dirt biking cause all the normal gear you can buy feels restrictive to me but the Dharco all in one vest feels so comfortable I don’t even know it’s there.

I’ve had a couple minor crashes and the Dharco vest soaked it right up so I’m very happy with my purchase.
DH Knee guards are next.

Best way to get them covered!

We picked this up for my 13 yo who races downhill. Initially I was concerned about not having the rigid exoskeleton, but after a bit of research, realized that it’s not like that was keeping his spine aligned in a crash anyway. What this stuff does is absorb the impact of a crash before it makes it to his body (they have a great demo in shop). I insisted on the long sleeve because at the speeds he is going, the more coverage the better, but he hates elbows (a universal struggle from what I have seen). Having integrated elbows means it’s not even a question. I would still be fighting a losing battle if not for the fit and comfort. This things fits like a glove under his jersey and it is visually obvious that it is actually lower profile than his previous chest/ back plate, while the padding actually has a larger footprint on his body. The flexibility of the actual armor means that it is way more comfortable than the ‘turtle shell’ brands. After his first race in it, we both feel really good about the switch. I actually just ordered the vest for lighter riding so stay tuned!

Full sleeve protection

Super low profile feels slick/modern under my jersey almost none existing when I'm ripping park laps had a tumble and recieved no cuts or bruises on my elbow or shoulder felt like the armor did its job!
