Our body armour is a tight fitting elastic mesh and is a standard fit, so stick to your normal size.

CARE INFORMATION

The Rheon inserts are removable.
We recommend removing the pads before washing to help the fabric wash and dry properly, especially since it’s a larger item to avoid damage.
Cold machine wash is okay for the fabric. Do not put in the dryer.

Pretty great

It's true that they are not really felt on downhill. Good light level 1 protection for the average rider. Now they need to sell spare shirts separately so that I can buy an extra one or two and just swap the pads over to a clean shirt on roadtrips.

Did the job...can't give it any less than 5

The punch line, in a moment of inattention on a completely mundane section of trail, my front wheel washed out and I went down pretty hard. Was very glad I was wearing my brand new Short Sleeve Body Armour (and that I left the easily removable shoulder pads in place).
I'm a pretty small guy (5'6"/168cm - 130lbs/60kg) and was worried about the size but the Short Sleeve Body Armour fit as described. It didn't move around and really - as many others have said, I forgot about it until I was glad it was there.
I was able to brush myself (and my ego) off and continue riding. Am I little sore? Yep. Would I have been able to continue riding without the Short Sleeve Body Armour? Will never know for sure, but I don't think so.
As a side bar, I really like that all the pads are easily removable in order to launder the t-shirt. Well done, Dharco!

Great Armour.

Been looking for a while at some new armour, and this was ideal.
I was between sizes, Dharco support offered some comprehensive advise.
It's Great, I wear a base layer underneath, for hygiene, and easy of getting off especially when you're hot and sweaty after a session.
It's the coolest armour I have used with plenty of airflow,
Squeaked a bit at first,
Not had any hard hits yet.
Really happy and will buy more, as my old pads wear out.

This protection is light weight and fit perfectly under any riding shirt. You don’t feel it while riding. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Just perfect

The body armour fits like a glove. I wore it on a very hot day and it felt like any other MTB t-shirt.

It’s great, light weight and breathable, like wearing nothing, but having the security/safety of wearing protection.

Worth Every Penny

This stuff is gold. On top of being very light weight and discreet under a jersey, it straight up works. I shoulder checked a tree during a practice lap for an enduro, and walked away unscathed. The padding left a tattoo on my shoulder that went away after a few days - but otherwise was left with no bruising and no broken bones. Cannot recommend this enough!

Very comfortable.

It's incredibly lightweight, fits well, and once you're riding, you almost forget you're wearing it. It offers great protection without restricting movement, making it perfect for long rides. Highly recommended if you want protection without the bulk.

Love this armour. It's light and super breathable. Really enjoy to wear it. I also bought the elbow and knee pads and after using them for short time i decided to pick the armor also.

Have only worn this once, but once I had the right size (suggested size was to small) it appears to be very good.

Love it. I forget I’m wearing it but it gives great peace of mind. I don’t bounce like I used so something to to take the sting out of the landing(which this does) is needed. Highly recommend

So comfortable to wear that I use it instead of a t-shirt!
But I wish the back protector was longer to cover the lower back. A version with Level 2 protection would also be great!

Lightweight, breathable armour

Very light, you almost don't know you have it, material doesn't irritate even if worn straight up on skin, perfect fit, removable pads and easy to clean, when u are riding its really airy and doesnt feel hot, when you stop ofc you do, back protector is pretty long, holds sweat on lower back, no ventilation holes at armpits, no zipper needed really bcs of material, not tested in crash yet but overall happy, i wish they’ve made “vest” version of this, kinda expensive but very good

Good fit, quality product

I'm 1.7m,70kg, and 97cm chest. Followed the size guide and got a size S. It fit perfectly. Very happy with the quality which wicks perspiration away well enough considering I'm riding in the tropics. I own Dharco jerseys, pants, knee guard and pants as well. Their quality is top notch, and has never let's me down.

I got some knee pads and elbow pads and a few minutes into the ride i forget it was on. It's like invisible pads. I fell off my bike and landed on my knee and my elbow. No damage at all. I EXTREMELY recommend these pads.

Finally

Finally a body armour that doesn’t make me look like an ice hockey player. I was in between sizes (as I usually am as a skinny 176cm tall dude) and went with Small and fits like a glove. Super comfortable, the pads are thin and unobtrusive and the fabric is breathable and almost kind of cooling. Feels really well made. Really like it. Have not crash tested through :-) Super happy to support local crew making good quality gear. Yeeew!

Snug fit, breathable and you even forget its on. Haven't tested the strength of the armour (luckily) but definately recommend the Dharco armour

Great fit and construction

Haven’t had the chance to use it yet but the fit is perfect and it feels like it will do a great job protecting my body…not that I want to purposely test it! I am 5’7” and 185lbs. Medium fit perfect.

I put this protection to the test. I huge OTB landing heavy on my shoulder ( big impact). The Rheon left an imprint on my shoulder for 1 week - but my shoulder was absolutely fine and no pain at all. I believe it out performed other protection i have previously tested. Being a crash dummy is hard work but someone has to do it 💪

5 stars. I had a huge OTB after casing a double. Landed fully on my back. Was not winded, or injured. Unreal!
