Introducing Protection You’ll Actually Want to Wear

Introducing Protection You’ll Actually Want to Wear

We’ve always done things a little differently at DHaRCO and our first-ever MTB protection range is no exception. This has been years in the making, and it’s finally here: gear designed to shift the way you feel about staying protected on the bike.

We teamed up with RHEON LABS to reimagine impact protection from the inside out. Their advanced polymer technology is next-level, but until now it leaned more toward the moto world. So together, we co-developed inserts built specifically for mountain biking, blending high-impact protection with low-profile comfort, breathability, and flex.

Why? Because we know why most riders ditch the pads: they’re bulky, sweaty, and just plain annoying. That was our starting point, make protection that’s comfortable enough to actually wear, day in and day out.

The result is a complete protection range that includes both pedal-friendly and downhill-focused CE-certified knee pads, elbow pads, vest protector and upper body armour. The designs use breathable fabrics, quick-drying and anti-odour materials, and silicone grips that hold firm without causing irritation or blisters. Ergonomic shaping ensures the gear moves with the rider, not against them.

We sweated every detail. Because it’s not just about taking the hit, it’s about how the gear fits, feels, and performs in the real world. And of course, we kept it fun. True to DHaRCO style, we added a hidden message inside every piece, little reminders that riding should still be a damn good time. “We cushion the blow, you handle the show” or “More stoke, less broke”, a reminder that the gear might be serious, but riding should still be fun.

Some of the world’s top athletes, such as Amaury Pierron, Loris Vergier, and Myriam Nicole from the Commencal Muc-Off Team, as well as freeride legends Tom Isted and Kyle Strait are now riding in the new protection range. Their real-world use and feedback continue to help refine and validate the gear in high-performance conditions.

This isn’t just a product drop. It’s a step toward rethinking what MTB protection can be:
More Comfort + More Protection = More Fun.
