Loudenvielle turned up the heat for an unforgettable weekend of racing in the Pyrenees. Under sunny but gusty conditions, riders were tested on fast, loose, and unforgiving tracks that demanded precision and guts.
In the Women’s Elite downhill, Gracey Hemstreet climbed top spot with a composed and aggressive run, marking her first World Cup win and a massive result in the Canadian’s season.
Amaury Pierron put down one of the runs of the day, going 1.661 seconds up at split two and throwing the French crowd into a frenzy. Unfortunately he couldn't hold onto the unreal pace in the final sectors but was happy to settle for second and take the World Cup leader's jersey. Loris delivered another solid result with P7, building comfort and confidence on the bike at each race, and working into the season with both amazing professionalism and plenty of fun.
Myriam Nicole was showing serious pace all weekend and no different in the final run when she was ahead of the split coming down the mountain. Unfortunately the red-hot run was her undoing as a crash meant she had too much time to make up. She’ll look forward to Leogang though taking this fast form with her.
Max and Till Alan once again delivered brilliant runs in the Juniors to go P3 and P4 respectively, just +0.605 and +0.728 off the win. Max retains the World Cup lead.
In round three of the Enduro World Cup, Lisandru Bertini from the La Pierre Gravity Collective continued his steady climb, grabbing 17th place overall and showing real race-day grit. His standout performance came on Stage 3, where he clocked the 5th fastest time — a sign of what’s to come. While it wasn’t the top result he’s chasing just yet, the speed is clearly there. With Leogang up next — a venue he loves — expectations are high.
