We are proud to share a success story with you. One year ago we welcomed Morgane Jonnier to the DHaRCO Family as a member of our EU Collective.
When we started to collaborate with her she was at the beginning of an exciting new project in her career; stepping away from EWS racing and instead focusing on competing in seven seperate trans alpine events across the globe and documenting her journey every step along the way.
Morgane Jonnier, with over a decade of experience in the Enduro World Series, is embarking on an innovative new challenge. Stepping away from the traditional racing circuit, Morgane will complete a dream season of multi-day enduro races, riding the best spots around the world.
This groundbreaking project positions Morgane as one of the first women to tackle seven global events. These races return to the essence of mountain biking, featuring unmarked trails and blind racing, where the route remains unknown until the race begins. This bold choice underscores Morgane's determination to push the boundaries of mountain biking.
Despite facing challenges, including a shoulder injury at the end of the first racing block, Morgane's relentless energy and sacrifice enabled her to compete in the second block of races achieving great results. This new chapter in her career is not only a personal adventure but also a platform for sharing captivating stories
Additionally, this project allowed Morgane to test the new Rossignol enduro prototype in racing conditions. The new bike, has already shown remarkable balance of performance and reliability in tough conditions, with Morgane pushing its boundaries!
Morgane is an "extraordinary" example of our brand ethos living a "No Ordinary Life". She embodies the sprit of mountain biking as a lifestyle sport (camper van included) and is a top tier role model for racers and enthusiasts alike.
Despite crashing and injuring her shoulder in New Zealand last March, Morgane was able to compete in all seven events, placing either first or second.
Here were her race results:
TRANS NZ (NZ) 🥇February- 6 days- 1st
NZ MTB RALLY (NZ) March - 6 days-DNF
KO STONEKING (FR/IT) June- 6 days- 6e
TRANS BC (CA) 🥈July- 6 days-2nd
TRANS MADEIRA (PT) 🥇September - 5 days-1st
TRANS NOMAD (ES) 🥈September- 4 days- 2nd
TRANS SIERRA NORTE (CX) 🥇October- 4 days-1st
She's just competed in the Epic Enduro, which is said to be the hardest enduro race in the world... 130km, 4800m of elevation, 13 stages in one day to take home the GOLD. What an amazing accomplishment!
And there's still more to come! She will keep doing multi-day adventure races such as the Trans Maurienne and Trans Verdon in France in July and Trans Varaita in August in Italy. Also attending social rides, events, carrying out beautiful missions in the Alps, and will continue to spend a lot of time on the bike.
We are happy to have her on board again as a Collective Ambassador for the 2025 season and celebrate Morgane's success across the MTB landscape.
